Another Tool Has Been Added To My Toolbox!

 I will discuss my learning experience both for this module and the whole course overall, capturing enjoyable specific lessons, taking specific tools, concepts, and fundamentals as I continue in my career and educational path, and providing a summary of ChatGPT usage and emotions in the course and lesson.

Learning Experience

During this module, I actually forced myself to think big about where I currently am in my professional career and age and really target realistic and perhaps attainable positions if I decide to stay in the restoration and insurance industry. With my futuristic resume, I started with where I am currently at with my current position and company and set high expectations for the next 30 years.  As you can see, I'm the Director of Franchise Support and am pursuing higher operations positions, executive positions in both operations and technology roles, and then becoming a consultant executive.

During this semester, my eyes were opened to so many tools out there, that if I never took this course, I would have never known. I am really appreciative of ChatGPT and have joined social media outlets as well as professional social media outlets to keep up with this tool.  I was able to use Adobe Express for other visualization assignments in my Computers in Business class and it was so easy to do once I got the hang out of it.

I can confidently say the most enjoyable modules were the AR experience, mobile app development experience, Creating NFTs, Learning ChatGPT, and creating the ChatBot.  All presented challenges as I am older than probably most students, but it really brought me alive, I had tons of curiosity, and was very proud of the new usage and knowledge of these tools.  I would certainly recommend this course to other students and would take another course if able to from Dr. Tai.

I may not use all these technology tools that I learned in the course in the future, however, I will keep them in my "toolbox" and reference them for new concepts, designs, and ideas I or my team has for new developments in our field, company and industry.  I honestly may pursue a deeper understanding of having a fully functional chatbot for our company website. I consistently use ChatGPT to help me write better resumes tailored to a job description and I also would like to use AI graphics and design to assist in our marketing strategies.

Achievement Emotions

Before starting the assignment, I thought it was going to be easy, but it was quite the opposite, as I do not like writing about myself.  Writing my future resume was actually hard at first, but then I remembered I have tools for this.  While doing the assignment and using ChatGPT it brought down some of my anxiety and stress levels as I was agreeing to what ChatGPT was providing me and aligned with my current career path. Immediately after writing this, I know that I can now rest, focus on some deserved family time, and then jump back into the saddle and strap on for the next adventure.

ChatGPT Experience

This tool provided me with reasonable goals that I may or may not achieve in my lifetime, however, they are accurate based on my current career path and concurred with brief outcomes.

AI's impact on learning will continue to bring new innovations, ideas, and processes to any field of study and career path.  What once was the typewriter, is now a computer. What is a computer is now a mobile device. What was the internet, is now Artificial Intelligence.  We have learned thru time, learning is not just in the classroom, it's being curious and creative in researching and trying to learn a new skill set with all the tools available to you at your disposal.  If AI is one of them, then so be it.  As long it is acknowledged and verified.

In conclusion, this course was the best class so far in my journey to finish my degree.  This class will benefit any student in any field and gets the creative juices flowing. Thank you, Dr. Tai, for your lessons and resources with our experiences.
