Space Exploration Experience from the Comfort of your Home Using Adobe Aero
In recent years, Virtual Reality (VR) technology has opened up new possibilities for immersive and engaging experiences, including space exploration. With the help of Adobe Aero, individuals can now create their own VR assets and bring their visions to life. In this blog, I have taken the initiative to create a VR space exploration asset using Adobe Aero, which is a remarkable achievement. This VR asset can offer users an immersive experience of exploring space in a way that is not possible through traditional media. The process of creating the VR asset using Adobe Aero was challenging, but ultimately rewarding, allowing me to unleash my creativity and imagination to create something truly unique and memorable. I know this will not be used for NASA projects, but I am extremely grateful for learning this new content and technology tool.

I was able to select various assets from the space exploration pack and make them interact as if they were in space. Rotating, orbiting as well as performing interactive movements
I learn about how virtual reality works, its design and purpose, allowing the user to be emersed in a virtual environment and interacting with what is around them both physically and digitally. The videos in the learning tab of Adobe Aero were extremely informative and useful. I learn the fundamentals of using Adobe Aero in creating my first-ever VR experience for space exploration. Prior to showing this experience I had tried and failed with 5 other space environments, and I learned that instead of adding all the assets that I liked and then adding their unique action or movement, and either not liking it, I had trouble correcting it, or undoing it. This cause me a lot of frustration and had to then delete the asset and then put it back in, but couldn't figure out how to delete the actions, so I then had to delete the whole project. So, a major tip is to just add one asset at a time, create the appropriate triggers, preview them, and continue to edit, until you are happy with the action or experience, and then move on to the next asset, and repeat.

Before learning about Virtual Reality (VR), I felt a sense of curiosity and wonder about the technology and what it could offer. As I delved into the topic and began to learn more, I experienced a mix of excitement and apprehension, as the concept of creating my own VR experience was both thrilling and intimidating. During the process of creating my first VR experience using Adobe Aero, I felt a range of emotions such as frustration, satisfaction, and a sense of achievement as I overcame obstacles and saw my original vision come to life. My experience may not play out as planned, but I know that my daughter was quite intrigued by my space exploration experience. After completing my first VR project, I felt a sense of pride and accomplishment, knowing that I had successfully created something that has the potential to immerse and engage others in a new and exciting way.
One thing of note, I am glad I had a work iPhone and iPad, which made this learning experience easier, as I have android and windows devices for personal use, and it would not have made it a pleasant experience because Adobe Aero was not found in Android.
ChatGPT experience
I did not have to use ChatGPT much if not at all for this second half of the assignment to comprehend the course material, as it was a more visual and hands-on learning experience. However, I did use it to help create a better introduction, share emotions, and a conclusion.
