My First Chatbot! Thanks BitsPlease Team For Making It a Reality!

What an intriguing month! The last four weeks have been interesting; discovering new technological tools and best of all, being creative while using them for my team's chatbot creation.  I will go over three of the technological tools that interested me from the 44 AI Tools That Will Make Your Life Easier video. I will attempt to use these tools in my other classes and at my workplace. I will also go over the overview of our chatbot, how each person contributed, and how it looks when someone uses the Message Me function to initiate the chatbot.

Beautiful A.I.: is a presentation software that uses artificial intelligence to help users create professional and visually appealing presentations. Beautiful.AI uses AI algorithms to analyze the content of a presentation and suggest design elements, such as images, layouts, and font styles, that are most appropriate for the content.  Beautiful.AI is designed to help users save time and effort in creating professional-looking presentations, and it is a popular choice for businesses, educators, and individuals who need to communicate information effectively.

Otter A.I.: With Otter.ai, users can record audio or video and have it transcribed in real-time. The transcribed text can then be edited, searched, and organized, making it easier to find specific information and share it with others. The platform also provides interactive voice-text alignment, allowing users to jump directly to the section of the recording where a specific word or phrase was spoken. Overall, Otter.ai is designed to help users save time and effort in transcribing and organizing spoken language, and it is a popular choice for businesses, educators, and individuals who need to capture and analyze spoken content.

Adobe Express: Will make content that always stands out. Start from thousands of templates for social media graphics, stories, and thumbnails, as well as posters, flyers, business cards, logos, and more. A great resource for anyone in marketing and branding to make amazing flyers, announcements, and logos, not only produce in print format but also on social media and websites.

Designing our team chatbot revolved around 3 actions:

1. Providing outreach

2. Information dissemination

3. Prayer Request

We used ManyChat as our chatbot tool as it is integrated with Facebook and Facebook Messenger.  we started with simple growth tools of 1 to 3-liner responses and choices and now we develop 15-20 free text responses, to multiple choice responses, and website link integrated responses.  All of them are triggered to go back to the starting point after the end of their path to seek more information.

Garrett and Kaylie created initial growth tools and discovered different options for how to build the initial flow.  3-4 different growth tools were made.  They also took part in editing flow and content with Lili and Daler.

Lili and Daler provided the information for the providing outreach and information dissemination by taking information from the church's Facebook page and the church's website.

By default, I became the team organizer, provided the resources, outlined the problem to be solved with solutions, and organized and facilitated our weekly team meetings. Performed a thorough review of factual information and checked paths of each flow for efficiency.  Lastly developed the prayer dialog for this part of the chatbot.

I was able to share this experience with 1 other pastor of another church, our Director at our Church Retreat Center and a friend.  They were all amazed on what information was shared, how easy it was to navigate and be given information based on prompts and how the chatbot was able to immediately share information about our region, the church without them going out of their way to look for it on their own.  

I will continue to develop this chatbot for the church as I know have a foundational knowledge base to go off and my hope is that this tool will help increase not only our memberships but also our participation in the community.

I am very optimistic by using ManyChat, we are now able to effectively engage with our audience, share important information and resources, and build relationships that support our mission and vision.  I am satisfied with its current effectiveness and procedures as it all goes back to the Pastor to be able to perform an actual human interaction follow-up. I took a lot of pride in having the idea, creating our foundation and being able to see it interact with our visitors from now on.

ChatGPT has enhanced my learning and creativity in completing this assignment as well it has assisted me in my other courses and in my workplace.
