Initial Emotions and Perceptions - Excited ,Curious, Optimistic and Satisfied. Oh my!

I have to admit, ChatGPT has intrigued my interest. I am starting to use it in conjunction with google while I search and ask for information.  I am optimistic about using it in various ways including in my career, and in this class.  Chat GPT has been giving me sounding advice and uplifting words of encouragement and inspiration.  Here are some uplifting words from your friendly ChatGPT companion:

Believe in yourself: Have confidence in your abilities and don't be afraid to take risks.

Set specific and achievable goals: Break your larger goals down into smaller, more manageable tasks and focus on the progress you are making.

Stay positive: Keep a positive attitude and surround yourself with supportive people.

Keep things in perspective: Remember that setbacks and failures are a normal part of the journey. Learn from them and move forward.

Reward yourself: Celebrate your successes, no matter how small they may be.

Find inspiration: Look to people you admire and find inspiration in their stories of perseverance and success.

Stay committed: Stay committed to your goals and don't give up, even when things get tough.

Remember, motivation is not something that just comes naturally, it's something that needs to be cultivated and nurtured. Keep pushing yourself and stay focused on your goals, and you will achieve them.

I have learned that ChatGPT cannot pray for me.  However, as I am starting to do research on a Chatbot, that Chatbot can provide a prayer based on certain prompts. I wonder what is the current difference between them since they are both AI? Well, this is what ChatGPT says about this.

ChatGPT and ManyChat are two different types of tools that serve different purposes.

ChatGPT is a language generation model, it can generate human-like text based on the input it's given. It can be used for a variety of natural language processing tasks, such as language translation, text summarization, and text completion. ChatGPT is typically used by developers and data scientists to build natural language processing applications.

ManyChat, on the other hand, is a chatbot-building tool. It is a platform that allows you to create chatbots for messaging apps like Facebook Messenger, Telegram, and WhatsApp. With ManyChat, you can create chatbots that can help automate customer service, lead generation, and content distribution. It is mainly used by businesses and marketers to increase customer engagement and automate certain aspects of their communication.

In short, ChatGPT is focused on natural language processing, while ManyChat is focused on chatbot building and automation.

I am enjoying the time while typing different prompts in ChatGPT as it is providing me supportive ideas, thoughts, and even recommendations as I seek a new career adventure, and complete my degree, all while learning something I never knew that I would.

As learning continues, so does my satisfaction with it, however, I wouldn't be remiss to warn about the usage and dependency of ChatGPT for learning.  Keep in mind that while ChatGPT can be a useful tool, it's important to use your own critical thinking and judgment when interpreting its output. It's not always a good idea to rely solely on the text generated by the model, and you should always fact-check and verify any information it provides.

I think a good suggestion to have for this class is a series of questions or statements about a subject and comparing the facts, similarities, and differences of various answers while comparing the current common society search engine Google, ChatGPT, and perhaps another AI platform.

Prompts I have used: They all provided me very useful information, that I find to at least be 85-90% accurate based on the prompt.

for my current industry and career

-I have used my various job titles,

-the name of the services we perform

-the name of the company

-How to build a resume

-Bible verses and examples

-How to make coffee with a Ninja Coffee Maker?

-How to save a journal article to Zotero

-Can you motivate me?

Finally, since we are in our conceptualizing stage of developing a chatbot.

- cool ideas for a chatbot

-a chatbot for a church,

-conceptualize.

I revised the writing of this blog 6 times, as I couldn't easily explain my emotions or thoughts in words.  I took the examples of motivation and ChatGPT as is, but everything else was in my own words. On a scale of 1 to 10, I currently rate ChatGPT to be an 8.

  1. Interesting blog post on the topic of initial emotions and perceptions. I agree that our initial reactions to a situation can shape our perceptions and ultimately influence our actions and decisions. It's important to acknowledge and consider our initial emotions and try to understand where they come from in order to make more thoughtful and informed decisions. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this topic.
